TCAB Gives to Foundation | ||
Board funds Rainey ScholarshipJune 2nd, 2008, was a great day for the TCAB community. Past President Steve Knapp and former Past President David Batley handed over a "big check" in the amount of $424.96 to the Advancement Office's Ms. Kit Trench who handles the Ken Rainey Scholarship Fund. Since the establishment of the Ken Rainey Scholarship Fund, TCAB has worked to put aside and monies from fund raising events, and in a relatively short amount of time has been able to generate a worthy amount of dollars for the fund. Current TCAB President Nancy Silver, who's larger-than-life signature appears on the check, noted, "We hope that this is the first of many installments going to this great cause. The funding of this type of program is just one of the many ways TCAB works to bring a common good to the university and the technical communications programs at SPSU. Thanks to all members of TCAB for making this happen. We would like to extend a special thank you to Steve Knapp, David Batley, Claudia Ludlow, and Annie Bragg. Thanks for bringing this all together.
