Dr. Carol Barnum invited to join the ranks of UX PioneersDr. Barnum was pleased and flattered to be invited to join with such UX Pioneers as Jakob Nielsen, Ginny Redish, Alan Cooper, and other luminaries of the usability world. Read her featured interview at www.uxpioneers.com Mike Hughes elected 2nd VP of The Society for Technical CommunicationIn two years, he will become the President of STC, the largest international organization of technical communicators in the world. Mike is a graduate of our MS program, a former member of the faculty, and currently an adjunct instructor, teaching the graduate Research Methods course. Mike is an Information Experience Architect at IBM/Internet Security Systems. Look for Mike's article, "Moving from Information Mapping to DITA" in the May issue of Intercom, STC's magazine. Roberta Heinlein writes featured article in IntercomA graduate of our MS program, Roberta Heinlein, published her article, "Wearing the Orange Apron" in My Job column of the May issue of STC's magazine, Intercom. Roberta, is who took a job with Home Depot after graduation nine years ago, now writes standard operating procedures for the home improvement giant. |
